Kevin Dillon has secured a major transfer coup with the signing, on a one-year deal, of former Reading and Burnley winger Glen Little.
After being released by Sheffield United, 34 year-old Little had joined The Shots on trial at the start of pre-season training and immediately impressed in two 45-minute cameos against Almondsbury and Basingstoke.
In a career of over 400 games, Little has experienced Premier League football in tandem with Dillon at Reading, and also in a loan spell at Portsmouth. It was with Burnley where Little made his name, making 282 appearances and scoring 36 goals between 1996 and 2004.
Little is Dillon’s seventh summer signing, with fellow midfielder Sammy Stewart expected to become the eighth in the next couple of days. |
