Aldershot town have the announced the signing of trialist winger Jermaine McGlashan on a one-year contract.

The pacy 21 year-old was scheduled to appear in Wednesday’s behind-closed-doors friendly against Reading, after previously impressing in two pre-season games for Southampton, against Winchester and Farnborough.

A graduate of the Staines youth team, McGlashan made his senior debut in March 2007 and subsequently moved to Bracknell, Kingstonian, Raynes Park and Merstham before ending last season at Ashford Town (Mx) in the Ryman Premier Division.

Dillon is expected to confirm a further three signings ahead of Saturday’s final friendly against Colchester United.
