When new kits have been introduced in the past they have had a proper launch with players or the ladies team photographed in them.

I know what you mean, but if you goto the "tool" and click on the player profile section, most of the new players are wearing the home top with GL just holding his home top up.

It probably will happen but as has been previously stated the website is having a refresh and relaunch so pretty pointless at the moment.
If an exile wants to purchase they can ring the club and i'm pretty sure the club will help them.

On the website somewhere... with photographs... like for example the splash banner on the club website's front page showing both new kits, or the lead story below that showing players in the new kit, followed by the second story showing a player holding up his new-kit shirt ?

Wore my new home shirt to the airshow today and was astounded by the number of people who asked 1) What team is it? and 2) How smart it looked. I have to agree with the smartness comment, normally I wouldn't wear a replica shirt for anything but footy, but this one feels different and would be suitable anywhere.

Anyone will to post a few pics of the shirts for those of us who haven't seen them in the flesh yet? Ones on the site aren't great especially for the away kit.

Local (or anyone else),

Any idea of how many shirts we have sold so far? and also what has proved more popular so far, the home or away shirt?

Thanks in advance

If they sell most of the popular sizes there will be none left WHEN they become available through the on-line shop and then us stray Shots will have to wait until November for a second batch to arrive! Still no joined up thinking about proper retailing and maximizing sales and income for the club.

Rant over.

MMMMMMMMMM-----------joined up thinking Thorfast!!

The current situation may not be ideal but there are always ways and means.

Why not ask a friend/relative/poster to purchase the required item and send it to you!

Why not send a cheque covering shirt and postage to the club with your requirements.

Why not just have a rant at the club! Your choice.

I know what I would do and obviously we know what you would do.

I'm afraid Thorfast's "joined up thinking" has lost me. The complaint seems to be that if the club sell all of the shirts they are failing to maximise sales and income. Eh? :?

OK. I'll be more direct.
The club is, and has for a number of years, been pathetic at marketing items for the fans (not just those that can get to the Rec at the drop of a hat - ALL the fans and supporters). The club shop and internet sales are a joke! How can the Norway fans get what they want? Yes they can arrange for a friend to buy personally for them, but for every one who can be bothered to do that there will be another four who wont bother. Missed revenue.
I live in Northumberland, and see the Shots play whenever they are 'up north'. If I want something 'Shots' for a nephews birthday next week, how easy is it fior me to make a purchase that will profit the club? And going by the posters on this forum, there are an awfull lot of Shots supporters who can not regularly get to a club shop.
On past form, they will run out of replica shirts, fans will moan and ask when the next lot will be avauilable, and there will be several private arrangements made on this forum between fans to 'get me a shirt and I'll send the money down to you'.
Will the club have a functioning website shop showing all items in stock before the season starts ...probably not.
Will they order shirts from the supplier before they run out, ensuring they alweays have stock...probably not.

I'll wait now whilst everyone trots out the usual excuses, no staff, no time, no money.
NOT GOOD ENOUGH

EXCUSES!!!

What is stopping you picking up a phone and calling the club. Remember that old fashioned method of TALKING!!!

Then as Local said, order what you want "over the phone" then send a cheque to the club when I imagine they will post the said items to you!

Simples
