Of course I can do that....you're missing the wider point

but for every one who can be bothered to do that there will be another four who wont bother. Missed revenue.

But surely those 4 who won't bother are just too lazy and would rather moan to prove their point that the club doesn't do anything for them personally!!
There are always ways and means for people who want to bother. What did those same people do before the internet and internet shopping???

Don't take it personally, I would say the same to anyone who would moan about the same thing.

What is stopping you picking up a phone and calling the club. Remember that old fashioned method of TALKING!!!

Then as Local said, order what you want "over the phone" then send a cheque to the club when I imagine they will post the said items to you!

Simples

Always ordered my shirts..etc that way and pleased to say have never had any problems.

I know this doesnt help the club at all- but as i dont live in aldershot so i cant get the new shirt.
If you go onto the JDsports.co.uk and search Aldershot you can buy it on there.

Hope this helps the long distance ATFC fans

Surely the club must get some sort of commission from JD Sports?

Just says 'Page NOT Found' when I try that. In fact nearly all pages on their site don't seem to work! Tried IE and Google Chrome and it doesn't work with either. :?

Yes but then we have an apparently small team of staff to do all this. One of the most annoying and time consuming things we find at work is having to stop what you'red doing and answer the flippin' phone!!Just look how much extra work they could get done (as do I) when things are automated!!

One of, if not the first, rule of selling is to make things easy for your customer to buy. You'd be amazed at how much psychology goes into making it easy for us to buy things in supermarkets for example. Absolutely any barrier at all provides a disincentive to buy and thus a lost sale.

I bet when you're buying stuff on the web you get annoyed with websites that make it difficult for you to complete your purchase? I know I do so I frequently take my business elsewhere.

Personally I will ring the club and order my shirts but not everyone will and the point being made is that the club are losing money as a result.

Bought my eldest his new shirt and very happy he is with it. I might even splash out and get myself the away shirt that really does look very nice.

Oy, leave off - it's not as if he could have known it was his nephews birthday next week and therefore done some joined-up thinking and sorted his order out via the telephone some time ago is it?
