Suttons OAP defence

Postby steveclivebaker » Fri Mar 17, 2017 6:38 pm

Its time for the young guns Saturday, Gallagher,Benyu,Mensah,Kanu and Fenellon
to run at an ageing Sutton defence and Rendell to stay in the box to finish
the chances we create. I feel a big win could be on its way Saturday.

I think the phrase "don't count your chickens" (etc) is applicable here...

I do think we should have a right good go tomorrow.
We've had a rest while they played Tuesday. They do have an aging defence, although Collins is no mug. ( He was when he was with us ).

Their defence held out o.k against Arsenal, will be difficult for us.

Suttons fat back four let in two v Arsenal ressies and two v us.
Need to cut down on their pork life.

Loved it when one of their defenders blamed the pitch for a mis cue. Idiot.

Thought our players handled Collins better when they worked out you don't have to give way to the right.

Fatter than Rhead, but not quite on the scale of Parkin. Work to do.
