Because so much money would leave this country in the press of a few keypads.

If I have understood your post correctly then I am guessing that you are using the Unionist bit from the DUP, the only thing is that the full name for the Conservatives really is in fact:

"The Conservative and Unionist Party"

So nothing has actually changed other than you may just have given the negotiators a new name that I am now going to struggle to get out of my head

Great stuff Lazio. Where do you work? I'm an OT and the wife is a nurse, both in the NHS. We have loads of fellow Shots fans in local hospitals!

Is that a good or bad thing?

Rubbish. The Labour manifesto was costed. People like you annoy me. You don't think for yourself. You get your information from newspapers who are owned by conservative supporters. Do some research.

The thing that may have is the peace process gone and the IRA back.

Socialism can work it was responsible for the most miraculous turn around in fortune after the 1st world war in Germany. The German folk were doing much better for it. I am not condoning what happened to cause the 2nd war but that was not a socialist ideal and would happen to a conservative ideal if a fascist was at the helm. The socialist part worked brilliantly it was the best economic recovery ever witnessed.

A fair point, although my only gripe is that the German recovery was funded by them refusing to pay the reparations to France and Belgium etc for the damage they caused. France and Belgium could probably have recovered far better had Germany not defaulted on their financial obligations!

Even after considering that it was still a monumental turn around a third of German men were out of work and it cost half a million marks not for a house oh no but for a loaf of bread. The reason he was voted in was because the democratic parties offered no solution to the horrific poverty being suffered and he was the only one offering social justice.

Social justice that involved murdering the sick and weak and many others.

Any manifesto can be 'costed',the rub is if the assumptions made are realistic, achievable or desirable.

Paying police recruits £30 a year is an example of socialist costing.
