Memory lane

Postby Swedishshot » Wed Sep 13, 2017 3:21 pm

Just reading an article on the rise of bournemouth and still can't believe the year they went up we beat them 2-1 at home. I think I recall it ended fiery as masters had a ball kicked full pelt into his face whilst warming the bench.

Sandell scored a lovely free kick then the wily veteran Fletcher used some of his old physical tricks to win a penalty before Strakes back heeled it in, I remember it felt like it slowly crept its way in. I remember there being an altercation on reading it Clark Masters threw a ball at one of theirs players who was taking a throw. the who the retaliated by booting a ball back him if I remember rightly.

Yes something like that, there was certainly a lot of movement on the bench!

Bournemouth will be back down playing us again soon the way they are going.
We will see them in League 1 in two seasons.

I too think he's great, but another few defeats and he will no doubt be replaced.

Resources - if they go down (current 8/15 to do so) they will have a large playing squad on high wages (for div 1). Crowds will drop below 3k, players sold/released - exactly what happened to Yeovil..........
