Joe Oastler, Matt 'back pass' Paterson and Rob 'gypsy' Sinclair are in the Oxford City starting line-up for the National League South club against Notts County in today's live BT Sport (12:30) FA Cup tie.

Why have you tried to make them sound like boxers?

I tried boxing once, realised I wasn't very good when the local newsagent asked if he could advertise on the soles of my boots. 8)

Both Sinclair and Paterson scored in their 3-2 defeat.

I thought that Sinclair (on that showing) could still be useful in The Conference. He seems wasted in Conference South.
Oxford conceded the winner in the last (half) minute of additional time and would've imo deserved the replay.

Aren't those places in 'The Shires'? Bilbo Baggins and Frodo, respective owners. :)

Avondale a nice little estate, nearly bought a house there. Didn't know they had a football team.

Avondale United play in Carrigaline, just outside Cork, nice spot near where the ferry from Swansea used to dock. Darren’s new club is just round the corner from his family home in Mayfield. Both play in the Munster Senior League.

Good sleuthing Statto!

PS can’t believe Barnes-Homer is still going!!

'back pass' scored a hatrick tonight for Oxford City in their 3-1 win against Truro

Andre McCollin scored a brace as Merstham held Billericay to a 2-2 draw tonight :)
