One thing that has not been mentioned is that Bernard took the time to write an open letter to the club and fans thanking them for their support. That just goes to show how much respect he has for everybody at the club. Not too many players would do that.

Yep, p5 about halfway down (thought I'd seen it in this thread but didn't realise it was 'that far' back).

Simples. Both buying clubs, Peterborough and Bristol Rovers, asked for the fee to be undisclosed. ATFC had no say in the matter.

I look forward to Lanternhall acknowledging Mr Gibbs response and hopefully accepting it.

Simple ATFC do not have to accept that.

No we don't. We just say we want fee disclosed in order to be open to our supporters. If they don't accept that don't buy our player.

Exactly it does. They want our player. We don't want to sell. We dictate terms.

I dont see what all the fuss is about "Undisclosed Fees." If it is a private business matter, then it is a private business matter. It's a bit like me selling my car; the money I make is my business, no-one else's.

Yes their may be moral grounds to let fans know, but that is about as far as it goes.

Shareholders meeting is in a couple of weeks but those accounts will be for our last financial year (see 1st link below). Kanu joining Peterborough was announced on the official website on 1st August (see 2nd link below) so I doubt very much if his transfer fee was squeezed into the 2016/17 accounts.

No moral need in my view. Some might 'want ' to know.We may have been the selling club, but it was only ever going to become a buyers market at best, and we would not be able to sell at all come May, merely been seen to give away.Unless of course he signed an extended contract just before we sold him :D
