James Alabi

With the news that James Alabi has signed for Ebbsfleet and that Ebbsfleet being our next game this gives me some cause for concern. Although Alabi hasn't done much this season the mention of his name doesn't hold happy memories for Shots fans after he scored 4 of Chester's 6 first half goals in Chester's 8 - 2 win (8th March 2016). Barry Smiths low point. Ebbsfleet could well be this season's dark horses for a play off place. If they had not have suffered the shock home defeat to Chester last Saturday they would now be on forty five points level with Dover and D & G.
Laurie Wilson the right back who signed last weekend for Ebbsfleet also looks a decent signing for them having over two hundred FL appearances. This looks like a good partner in defence for Dave Winfield. Ebbsfleet will be no push over at the EBB.

We’ll have at least 1 in by then :)

If we keep the ball on the deck next Saturday and spray it around with energy and pace and not just knock long balls up to Rendell and/or Kabamba then Winfield will struggle big time :!:

Have faith.

Play our game and pass the ball through their webbed feet!

When he was at Chester it took him less than that to score against us in the 8-2 game! Also in that game he scored his second, third and fourth goals over a 10 minute period, so we did well to restrict him to nothing in the 15 minutes lase week :)
