Why do lefties always object to people making money, if its legal so be it? Not of course a sport I have ever been interested in. As the song goes, money makes the world go round. I guess if we did not have rich business men in our capitalistic economy we would be in dire straits, another sing song.

As we know their are quite a few socialist rich people and Blair has made a bit and not found to have breached the law. Also Mr and Mrs Kinnock made a small fortune out of Brussels.

They don’t, what they object to like any decent person is gross inequality. Unless you think Bankers receiving multi million £ bonuses while the families struggle to find enough money to feed their kids is OK. It’s wealth and prosperity for all. "For the Many"....think you know the rest:-)

I dont think by making wealthy people poorer you will get wealth and prosperity for all.

You need to help 'poor' people become more wealthy.

Trouble is wealth is relative. Poor people becoming wealthier will only happen if wealthy people also become wealthier, the divide remains (And in all probability you have hyper inflation on your hands!)

More equality is what is needed.

In a fantasy world indeed.

But how do you achieve this equality in the real world

So are you saying i’ts acceptable that families struggle to pay their bills and feed their families, it’s acceptable that people live on our streets, that some old people can’t afford to heat their homes in winter or afford the care they need while others earn fortunes? Should we just accept that or try do change our society for the better? How we do that is a matter for debate but surely we would all wan’t to build a better and fairer society.

If you mean equality of living standards I’m not sure people actually want that but thats another story. However prosperity is relative and subjective. I suppose Nye Bevan was accused of being a ‘dreamer’ was MTK? Without our dreams we have no change no progress. What is wrong with Utopian thinking? God knows we could do with some of that right now. We can accept the status quo or we can try to change.

Yoy don't have to be working class to be a socialist, it's not about class, it's about principles. Read a bit about Tony Benns' origins and what he had to fight to give up to remain in the commons, there was a man of principle.

As we know their are quite a few socialist rich people and Blair has made a bit and not found to have breached the law. Also Mr and Mrs Kinnock made a small fortune out of Brussels. Definitely not lefties!!!!!!

Surely it's possible to redistibute a small percentage from the mega rich and spread that among the poorest, that would be a start and the mega rich wouldn't even notice it. get the rich and corperations to pay their due in taxes would also helo to level the playing field.

Hang in, Jeremy will try to answer your dream and I like most working class people will welcome the huge rise in income tax.
