Just a suggestion Dave but as your a Reading fan and the Crimea is ticket only why go to a pub at all, why not drink at the ground in the Phoenix Lounge
(Reading have the South side of the ground)

So we're in the away end?

Yeah we'll still probably have a few in the bar anyway but wanted a nearby pub first.

Now that the world cup is over more and more people are getting interested in gong to Aldershot for the afternoon.

Yes Dave Reading, are in the away end as this a Fulham home Fixture.

Unless something's changed today, I understand that the Reading supporters will be in the South Stand, not in the Eastbank away section.

Sorry my earlier post could be misleading

Reading are the away side so they will be coming in through the away turnstiles which was what I had in my head when I replied to Dave. For this game the whole of the South Stand including the away seating and home seating areas in that stand has been designated the away area so your absolutely right Birdman Reading are in the South Stand and have the Phoenix Lounge and Hotshots Café.

Fulham come in from the home turnstiles and have all the North stand seating. They have the Eastbank Bar and a burger unit behind the North Stand

Anyone going to the game don't forget its a 1.30pm kick off not 3pm

Ah yes, but just remember how great you feel when you experience the Eastbank those 3-4 times a season with real supporters.

The plus side to the Eastbank not being open (home and away sections) is that we haven't had to clean the pigeon poo off the barriers or terraces today. That'll be a job for Monday, maybe Tuesday (PSF v Oxford on Tuesday, 7:45 ko). Not one of our favourite jobs if I'm honest.

You're not wrong, Postie. Let's just say that there isn't a queue to get the buckets, brushes and shovels.
