North v South

The vanarama table is very lopsided this season ten of the bottom eleven are southern based teams.
If I remember rightly last season was the complete opposite. Why has this happened in such a short
space of time ???.

Interesting question steve, for a start we know why fylde, Harrogate and Salford are doing well, complete false successes, Hartlepool getting their act together this year, can’t explain Solihull doing well, Gateshead usually up there doing well, the rest, not sure!

how so Postie, historically success always goes to those who spend money.
Nottingham Forest won a few useful tournaments between 1977 and 1980 without spending ridiculous money, I stick to my original comment regarding those 3 clubs in that sadly I expect at least one of those to get promotion, all because of rich owners, I really hope Wrexham and orient go up and these owners bugger off but I doubt it!

hmmm they did indeed. i'm sure they broke the British transfer record at least once whilst doing so though :wink:

Most of the first Division title winners played in division 2, Trevor Francis was one big signing but they were good before he arrived, Leicester and Leeds didn’t buy the league either!
