I’d say it’s 25-30 years since Ribena was sold in glass bottles. Bit of a lame effort, this has got a beer injury written all over it!!!
If he injured his foot with a bottle of beer it had to be a Sol.

Ribena and Lucozade were made by the same company and glass bottled Lucozade wrapped in yellow cellophane ceased in 1983, so i would guess Ribena probably followed suit around that time.

I wonder which style of bottle is the culprit? https://www.ribena.co.uk/world-of-ribena/old-ribena/

If he’s out of months his fitness might then be an issue. Might be difficult for him to Ketchup.

With the exception of Rowe's injury, could our training methods have something to do with the amount/type of injuries we've been getting over the last couple of seasons?

No its taking a chance on injury prone players because they are cheaper and dont get signed by the money boys.

It is a false economy when you have to keep getting other players in to cover for them
The Osbourne signing was the most ridiculous signing of recent years!!!

The BBC reported this morning what James Rowe dropped (prior to treading on it) was a 'glass' of Ribera.

Are we actually sure this is what happened? None of the quotes from Rowe Senior in the original story confirms that it was anything to do with Ribena or glass, just a "freak accident". Seems like rumour has gathered momentum and people are now accepting it as fact
