Comedy Night tonight

Post by Richard Petty » Thu Dec 06, 2018 1:58 pm

Don't forget its Comedy night in the EBB Lounge tonight at 7PM, Some great acts booked and a chance to have a jolly good laugh for just a tenner.

I have 5 guests going so really looking forward to it

Mark Butler says the comedians are really good so I am sure you will hear jokes a lot better than ones like these:

I have a very good feeling about my job interview today. The manager said they were looking for somebody responsible.
“You’ve found your man,” I responded, “whenever there was a problem in my last job, they always said that I was responsible!”

I met a native Australian the other day and he was playing "Dancing Queen" on a didgeridoo, I thought that's Abbariginal

I got a compliment on my driving this morning. When I got back to my car someone had put a note on my windscreen saying "Parking fine" that was nice of them wasn't it.

Hey Sue, what do you say to a nice walk?
Oh Harry, that would be lovely!
Wonderful. Could you bring me some beer and cigarettes on your way back?

Yes I feel very safe guaranteeing the jokes are going to be a lot better than that :D

The club shop is open late this evening as well with George Fowler, Adam McDonnell and Regan Booty helping out so you can pop down and meet them while buying your Shots related Christmas presents or just a purchase for yourself.

I hear the CEO wanted to do a turn, but was told this is not in her job description, I fear some may disagree !

I prefer the Disco Nights at the Club

Last time they played some great songs :-

Do The Twist - So I did.

Jive Bunny - So I did the Jive

Come On Eileen - Bleedin Bouncers threw me out after that.

Is the Club Shop selling Advent Calender's? I've heard their days are numbered.

My neighbour banged on my front door at 2 o'clock in the morning last night can you believe it 2am. Luckily for him I was still up playing my drums.

Not for me. I prefer the Freddie Star types of comedy, I am one of the Alf Garnet types 😂😂

Last nights Comedy night was very good, not as well attended as it could have been but still a good number of people there enjoying a level of comedy that for just £10 was really good value.

The headline act Steve Best was brilliant both with the jokes and his visual humour.

Big thanks to Mark Butler for organising it, I am really looking forward to the next one

I hate all these stereotypical jokes about people from Liverpool - it's so unfair.
I have a really good friend who's a Scouser. It's his birthday next week so I've popped a tenner in his Grandmothers purse as a surprise present for him.

Dr Jim
Now that was good.

Even if slightly racist.
