Blood out of a stone is tricky at this time of year but many people get paid next week so there may be an extra trickle.

An idea would be to set aside the £100 you had intended to use on Valentines Night feeding the missus or bird. Tell her straight that she’s not getting out this year. Stretch to a tub of Milk Tray and a book of crosswords and reroute the same ton the way of another Golden Ticket.

Tell the old mare she’ll get half if it comes in or you’ll even whisk her off to the Isle of Wight for a Travelodge weekend. She’ll understand. They always come round.

I’ll be buying 1 or maybe even 2 on Friday as it’s pay day :)

Nice one Alex, I would think that quite a few will be in exactly the same boat as you re pay day, January is a write off for most of us. Also at the end of jan for the bill payers amongst us no caaaancil tax to pay so a bit of extra disposable income maybe

If you follow the above advice, don't forget to come home looking glum on 30th March (especially if you win) - "Never mind. I was sure I was on a winner. I'm bound to be luckier next time")

On the comedy video Mark says he is running out of ideas regarding the selling of the tickets. I know it might be suggesting the obvious but has Mark contacted all the companies that advertise on the hoardings surrounding the pitch? I'm sure EBB for one, with their sales of £138m last year would only be to willing to cough up for a couple of dozen tickets. They could inturn raffle them of to employees or use them as incentives for their sales team.
I think you've missed the comedic intent of the video which was to give a glimpse of Bernard Mensah

I'm sure our brilliant sponsors are doing their bit and Mark Butler NEVER runs out of ideas
Well of course yes, it may even cheer up all the doom mongers, perhaps just a little bit.

Just transfer your bank account and you get £100 or even £200. All for free. Available?

You haven’t moved with the times then Aberdeen!
What makes you assume the relationship is man and woman? A lot of Mrs & Mrs or Miss & Miss Or Mr & Mr these days, which ones would have the crossword or Milk Tray as it happens I love milk tray, in fact a bit of a pig I’d say👫 👭 👬
I think Mark Butler has come up with a brilliant idea on this one

Wonder if Barry Smith will get one or maybe Mrs Smith ?

Amazing effort from everyone. We deserve success.

Ruud Gullit too now! Unless I’m misunderstanding the ‘Mensah’ videos...

Has Justin Rose bought any? He's the world number one so must have a bob or two to spare.
