About right, but a coupe! Ergonomically designed interior with Recaro seats and angled instrumentation which was very advanced for its day! Quite fast too, but not by today's standards although I got 120 MPH out of it on the A3 Thursley bypass once! Never again!

This year its 50 years since the Mark1 Capri was launched.

Another classic car which was available to just about anyone who wanted one with a low spec budget 1.3ltr engine car that could be overtaken by a milk float but still looked exactly the same as the top of the range 3.0ltr. A 17 year old could afford to buy, run and insure a used one as a first car while still having a car that on looks was sporty.

Just had a quick look what they are going for now. £17500 for a sorted 2L S Mk2, I think I paid £150 for mineRichard Petty wrote: ↑Mon Feb 04, 2019 6:42 pmThis year its 50 years since the Mark1 Capri was launched.

I can't recall a thread begin to go away from the subject matter at such an early stage (3rd post, take a bow, Fuggletim) and then carry on in that direction, leaving said subject matter trailing in its wake.

If you want a sport better than super bowl and I should think there are 100s the next best thing to Soccer ( football) is Aussie Rules Football. When a player goes down hurt he is hurt and most games are not over until the final siren. If you get a chance watch the 2018 Grand Final, West Coast Eagles V Collingwood
