This thread always bemuses me as it’s always in one mans hands only, totally pointless, good night!

You can shuffle the pack as much as you like, if the cards dealt are not good enough you still have the losing hand.

Normally I would agree Dr. However look at United, sack mourinho and the ‘cards’ turn in to winners overnight! I am assuming the players are behind Waddock? BUT my hunch is they simply aren’t up to it. Those crappy grounds we’ve got next season in the barge and shove league with 25 stone mud wrestlers.... I’d hoped those days had long gone but reality is as always this is Aldershot

Relegation I believe will see us slowly die, we will not compete in South League purely based on how physical it is, Gary prefers "pretty" football which isn't working this season at all, next season that style will see further backward steps IMHO.

But a new manager this season has very little hope of turning this squad around, bunch of nice guys I've no doubt but not good enough at current level. And think sacking Gary will serve no purpose now, too late I'm afraid. And I can't see him wanting to go part time next season, something I think bound to happen.

As long as Waddock goes if we go down it shouldnt be be a problem. 4 years in Ryman 1. 5 years in Ryman Premier and not even challenging for promotion for 4 of those years. Get a manager who knows the division have the pick of the part time players and rebuild we could do what Woking have done this season. The Golden Ticket initiative has shown the strength of the supporter base. We have great supporters who will continue to support next season.

Never mind Woking, they will face the same problems as everyone IF they come back up ie, being part time there will be a limit to what they can and anyone can achieve against well financed full time clubs in the national league.

Going part time might be the answer to rectify poor financial management but that to me will be the begining of the end. We should remain full time and be planning initiatives to make that possible by keeping the fan base coming back, reduced season ticket deals etc and create some new optimism around the club. If we go down, going part time to me sends out the wrong signals.

Wanadio deserves a start
Time for Finney to be dumped, possibly for McCoy
Grant obviously injured so I’ll have a half fit Rendell instead of lazy Gerry

I’ll just finish by saying it is the manager who picks and motivates the team
Obviously not very successfully 😡

Grant isn’t injured. He had a Cyst removed from his stomach.
Can’t imagine he will be playing Tuesday but suspect he will be back in contention next weekend. Stick a plaster over it and crack on.

I’d play 2 up top myself but we all know GW only has one game plan.

And after yesterday I’d rest all of those benched, McClure is frankly rubbish too but the four subs there all need a kick up the backside because they are better than what we saw out there.

Solihull have two suspended and a few injuries. There goalkeeper has tweaked his hamstring at Ebbsfleet and they haven’t been having a reserve keeper on the bench. Is this the game we have some luck?
