Staying up is starting to look unachievable :(

Believe me it extremely difficult to get out of the NLS, and Torquay look to be walking it as a full time club with the Bristol City contacts. WFC look to be contenders for the second spot but it is very competitive with Riccay and if there is a relegation there will need to be a re-group and I don’t think that Waddock has the balls for that fight.

Looking at our current form, our remaining fixtures and the fact that we are already 5 points adrift, i think its safe to say we are odds on to go down..

With Braintree waking up, I also wouldn't bet against us ending up bottom of the table in the next few weeks.

To be frank, I feel like staying up would only paper over the cracks with the problems the club has, which is an ageing shrinking fanbase combined with a lack of youthful replacements coming along- an unsustainable business model whereby the club is reliant on bringing in new directors every three months (it feels like) to bring in new funds, etc, etc.

The club needs a revamp.

Agreed, not only will we go down, it’s highly likely we’ll be propping up the table come the end of the season. I can’t believe there’s a worse team than us in this league.

15 games left. That’s 45 points. Not over yet.

Care to guess how many points the last 15 have produced (ironically the 16th was Eastleigh away).
Clue....barely enough to see them out of the relegation zone as the table stands today!

Honestly we must be favourites to finish bottom.

Not even a point a game

Averaging less than a goal a game

Why will we suddenly turn this around against better teams lying ahead.

Its done!

A lot of doom and gloom on here but 15 games left that’s 1/3 of a season to go. A long long way to go. Our squad is now the strongest it’s been all season.

We are a decent side until the ball goes in or near either penalty area

This is the thing and as we have said for months even the last 2 and a half seasons we just dont score enough goals.

The forwards we have and the way we are set up is just not producing enough goals. This is down to the manager.

It ultimately cost us promotion last season and it will relegate us this season. Yes our defence has been terrible at times this season but our lack of goals is heaping pressure on an already flimsy defence as everyone knows that we will struggle to over turn any deficit.

Its bad enough playing clubs like Eastleigh, Bromley etc in the national league but the prospect of returning to places like Hampton is horific.
