Sad day.
How ..... we didn’t buy a goalscoring Striker. Been saying it all season.

Gary is and seemingly will be our manager so we should stick with him and support his rebuild.

Off to drown my sorrows. :(

Did the home fans meekly accept relegation at the final whistle, or were there any tears or anger?

No home win in 5 1/2 months and relegated!

TIG what an absolute joke!

I Will NEVER return to The Rec until he's removed!

Still can't believe how he's kept his job!

Records SMASHED for ALL the wrong reasons!

FACT the club is in free fall whilst he's there!

Leave NOW and put Mark Butler in for the last 3 games.

EMBARRASSINGLY BAD
You may have a long spell with no Shots games then Oliver.
I don’t see how you think it’s going to happen. Shahid said he was sticking with him. We can’t afford to sack him. Gary says he’s not a quitter. So he will be here and I am willing to give him one more season.

The board gave him a contract that is on the managers side not the club's. It is serious bad management by them!

Seeing as we've just been waiting for confirmation for the last 6 weeks there's just resignation

I know we all love what GW has achieved with the Shots in previous seasons. But honestly, how can he stay in his job after the season we have just had?!

With respect Anon he's ONLY staying for the paycheck or payoff.

He preaches he loves the club but didn't stay around when Wycombe came calling, so nothing washes from then on!

I'm not a quitter - another joke, his passive body language, indirectly blaming outside issues, injuries etc and not taking the blame suggest going through the motions.

If he loved the club that much he would've left at Xmas but he fully well knows he won't get another managers job so here we are!

Shahid shot himself in the foot but has to stomach the payoff and get shot. Would get that back with the fans lifted and morale returning next season.

He stays, it could be the END!

I Didn’t think he played badly. Created some good chances and won the ball well. One of his best performances for us in my opinion.

No he was absolute garbage in my opinion.

Hartlepool were one of the worst sides to visit us this season and we spectacularly fail once again.

As much as it hurts missing games recently and potentially not watching my club next season I think I’m the same.

Gary, thanks for the good times but now please just do most of us a favour and walk :!:

Gary signed a goal scoring striker in November. He then put him on the wing during December, kept him on the bench most of the time January and March, and subbed him off when he scored goals. I do wonder how many goals Grant would have scored had Gary used him properly.

Love what Gary did for us the first time and first two seasons in this spell, but he's been a disaster this season. Not helped by the injuries but we've had most of the squad back in 2019, however have only won two games, and none at home. Gary has to take some culpability and has to go or we will continue to fall.

Very sad to see us relegated. It's been coming since January really. The hardest part about it to take is that we've shown so little fight and not even looked like turning the results around at all.

With the greatest respect, it's been coming since pre season, we could all see what a shambles that was and it paved the way to where we are now !
