I just thought he deserved his own thread as so far this season he's been immense!

Full credit to him after last season being pretty poor and becoming somewhat of a laughing stock.

So far he's looked good in the hair, strong and quick and very composed in possession.

This might be a bit rich coming from me but ’in the hair’? I don’t think so.

I would say Finney was our 4th choice centre half before the league season started.

But fair play he has grabbed his chance , and looks a good option for the left centre-back role even when everyone is fit.

I still get the feeling he's going to F**k up occasionally when in possession but the more games he plays the more confident I get.

He reminds me of Anothy Charles. Mainly reliable but with an air of a blooper in him.
Certainly much better than last season. I think being allowed to just get rid, even if that's over the stand, suits him, rather than Gary's more cultured approach to the game.
Long msy it last. One positive in a fairly dissapointing start.

Agree. Gary's "more cultured approach to the game" got us exactly where last season?

Where's this striker coming from you say we desperately need?

It's ok saying that but I don't think there's an abundance of them available in our budget range - assuming we've got one!!!

There's a reason why 20+ goals a season strikers have gone elsewhere - 3 guesses why.

First of all you must call me MR sack and not pat as I find that offensive, secondly, Gary Abbott v grays 6-0 September 2001!
