I must confess that I am missing the gag here :?:

As well as the fact that he is dead how does a Ukrainian painter fit with the management of our team

We always expect two by the weekend and rumours are that joining Nicolai Poliakoff as his striking partner will be Charlie Cairoli.

In terms of The Rec and redevelopment, planning permission has been applied for the new ground to have a Big Top and new developers, Billy Smarts, will be overseeing the build.

jim are you still hoping to hear news of two in by the weekend other than a couple of clowns, weve already got enough of them or is management hoping for a postponed game so we can carry on asking if two will be in the following weekend.

not looking good for getting any new players in for next week JR
see hunt and powell sat out there game again yesterday
everygame so important but at least we still have to play 6 of the teams around us so if only 3 go down think we will be safe
looking at the table this would have been the season to get into the play offs had hunt and powell not gone when they did, reckon we would be on 46pts now just 5pts off solihull in 6th place and all to play for
I cant believe we couldnt replace the loanees when they went i bet borg would have

My original observation was based on the BBC so just checked Met Office. They have the same forecast for tomorrow which is no rain but they do show a 50% chance of very light rain early hours of Saturday until 9am. Lets hope the BBC is the more accurate as I am sure I recall Maidenheads pitch being a bit heavy and if they keep the grass long which is their habit then any breeze wont dry it so easily.
