Could just be a storm in a teacup
Just got wind of this. If the game does go ahead, I'm sure it will be a blast.
We'll breeze through it.
All HAIL to you scorp - it'll certainly be raining - the latest...

Tonight's forecast on auntie beeb for Sat showed no rain at 5pm - and no rain for some time before then - in central southern england. However, it will be quite breezy. The worst of the rain this weekend will arrive long after the game has finished. Touch wood, of course.

The Met Office forecast for Sat, however, isn't so bright.
More trust in the Met office forecast and their millions of pounds worth of computers than the BBCs cheapest bidder forecasts from Daves weather stone......

I keep forgetting that the BBC no longer uses the Met Office.

As they are supposedly a public service channel(s) which we have to pay for through the licence fee they should be forced to use our national weather service.

To be fair though both forecasts (BBC & Met) are almost identical for tomorrow.

If Carol Kirkwood tells me tomorrow best stay indoors, who am I to argue? Top Thinking Mans Weather Girl Totty is Carol.

Met Office latest forecast for central-southern england: rain on Sat at times but generally light with the occasional moderate splash. Any heavy stuff will be on Sat night and on sunday. Winds a tad on the breezy side. Max gusts 50mph-ish. Game on, i'd have thunked, but over to Dr Jim's seaweed-dangling forecast...

We have now found something else that we agree on Dr Jim :D

Carol is class as is Alina Jenkins another one who can brighten up a dull day, mind you Georgina Burnett is a strong contender (google her if you don't know her)

Colin was on the pitch early this morning (9ish, but he had to come from North of London). He was using a verti-drainer which is a machine that punches lines of holes about 9” deep into the turf. A rather slow process, a bit like walking at a two year old child’s pace. He was still ‘walking’ it when we left around 12:15.

The best weather person by far is ITV’s Lucy Verasamy although I’m not sure i’ve ever actually listened properly to any of her forecasts. 🥰Google again.

Didn't need Google, I remembered her as soon as you mentioned her, only forgot her because I am nearly always on BBC for news. Yes she goes on the list of favourites :D

Any pitch Inspection due. Or well, inspection of the weather?
