Fylde chairman has announced all staff and players will have to take 50% cut in wages due to current situation

The first of many, a lot of clubs will fold during this crisis as they just aren't viable. I can see a lot of football being regional and part time when things settle down.

enjoyed our part time days,never been to so many wins! Don't know whether it would put a dampener on our ground development,but we can't patch up the Rec forever.

If the Fylde players are taking a 50% cut that should give them the wages that all the other National League players are on.
