Whilst the British generally accept and participate in memorial silences, it is very much more of an odd concept to applaud something like we have been doing. I have proudly done it since it started (except last night when I was still driving home), but I have noticed there isn't as many out now as there used to be.

Accepting what the founder of the idea says, I actually really do like the idea that this should become a national event every year, and would suggest March 23rd would be the day.
