I don’t understand this obsession with Miller? It’s like he’s the messiah or something! He’s not coming!! DS said so, so it must be true!! Walker and Sheilds? ?? Wow!! No thanks.

Don’t see the logic in signing Harry P but pleased with the rest. If we can sign Chislett and Sagaf then that’s a very very decent squad.😃

Chislett, Finney and Miller = yes please 🤞🏻

Shields = really!? I’ll be amazed and very disappointed if we waste any more time and money on him. He offered pretty much nothing in his first season and at no point looked good enough to be playing in the NL. NLN or NLS player at best!

Grant and Walker = not too bothered either way.

Tinkler = no big loss.
Agree. Why do we want Shields? Please tell me what he has done?

I reckon the obsession just shows how long it is since we’ve had a good goalscorer. Most of us will have grown up with the shots having a prolific striker (Howarth, Dungworth, Banton for the older fans, Butler, Abbott, Grant for the (relatively) younger ones). However, in the last ten years odd we’ve only had one striker that’s scored 20 goals+ in a season. Miller would only need to perform half as well as he did last time he played at this level to achieve that.

I wouldn’t rule him out, as though Danny’s said he’s not signing now, it’s still two months until the season starts.

A front 3 of him, Mo and Tanner would be up there with one of the best attacks in the league for me.

Didn’t Danny say to the local press yesterday he’d love to sign Ricky?

What’s going on with the younger Miller? Assuming he will stay on...

I'm about as certain as I can be that Reece Miller is already under contract. He signed his first professional deal in March 2020, I can't see why this would only have been a three month contract until the end of the season. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/reece-m ... ler/747672 (warning! potentially dubious source alert!) also suggests he's already signed up until June 2021.

At least Lewis Walker looked interested and ran about a bit.

McDonagh was a disgrace and a wage thief.

This thread is hogwash.

For one, Shields is back in Scotland and has been looking for a new club since early May:

why would the SFA put the National League on hold?! 🥺
