Well, you haven’t watched any football on TV for the last few months. I’ll look and see if I can find a random clip on you tube. They all do it!!!!

My post did not have any racial overtones. I simply asked about something that many black players have done and compared it with something that I guarantee a white player would get slaughtered for if they did a similar thing.
As I said, profuse apologies if players have been giving black power salutes. Better not to do that.

I did take your post to have racial overtones. Very much so. That is why I reacted against it. If this was not what you intended, then forgive me.

Thanks, Wales. As I say, apologies to 15-4-08. Black power salutes are not a good idea. It divides the black players from their white teammates, when they should all be standing together.

Thanks OB. Watch tonight’s match of the day and see loads of them doing it.

When Marcus came to us in November 2015 I thought we had a player who would really strengthen the team. For what ever reason Barry Smith never gave him a start . Went back to Burton and was a squad member for the rest of their season and played in the Championship for them the next.

Yes, Brian, it was difficult to judge Marcus on so few games. I thought he was very lightweight for the notoriously physical Conference/National League. Very happy for Marcus to prove me wrong! Good luck to him.

I've tried to avoid making snap decisions on players ever since I wrote Des Walker off the first time I saw him

Portsmouth manager Kenny Jackett said in an interview that Marcus' main problem is that he's inconsistent.

When he was appointed as the National League "Head of Player Development" in January 2019 it was to set up the National Youth Alliance League

Slightly tenuous.......... Reece James (son of Nigel James) has been promoted from the England U21 squad to the senior squad for the upcoming games against Wales, Belgium and Denmark.
