The Alternative Interview - All 7 Episodes Now Online

Post by Kappadeano » Mon Oct 05, 2020 9:30 pm

For anyone that might be interested I have started a new feature called The Alternative Interview. Many thanks to Graham Brookland for doing the first interview.

Our first guest is ex Aldershot Town captain Ben Herd. Recorded via Zoom please find the link to part 1 below. Ben speaks openly about his early career leading onto playing for Shrewsbury at Wembley. It is likely that there will be 5 or 6 further parts with footage played over the top. I am hoping to have more ex-players involved soon. I hope you enjoy them.

Brilliant, love the interview. Ben is definitely one of the best defensive players we have had since 1992. A fantastic leader and captain, can't wait for part 2.

Great interview , always great to hear from Ben, one of my favourite players, hard working player and good servant to the club. Looking to hear more about the following seasons. Keep up the good work Kappadeano

You're keeping us all hanging now!!! When is part 3???

Really really enjoyed part 2. Great to have such an insight from a players perspective of life at the club, really interesting to hear Ben say that he would have followed Gary to Wycombe had he of not signed a 2 year deal with us.
It was interesting also to hear Bens perspective on instructions given to players. Naively I never considered sometimes that players don't do the obvious because they are told not too.

Anyway, great stuff, roll on episode 3.

I hope that one day water will be under troubled bridges that have finished smouldering.

( theirs a song in there I think ).

Would be a happy day if Deano could put on Kiss's makeup. :D
