So what new players would you like to see next season at the rec or any old faces that might return.

Danny Hylton
And a young winger just released by Gillingham called Gerald Sithole. Just for the giggles!

I certainly think that Danny Hylton would be a huge asset to the club and team. His experience would help the younger players somewhatchimpster99 wrote: ↑Wed May 11, 2022 9:21 pmLaurie Walker

No “nostalgia” signings, please. No players with a history of niggling injuries. No ancient journeymen.Anybody that can shoot….

Re: new players.
Would Danny be too expensive/good for us? He’s played a few matches in the Championship this year.
Will be interesting to hear if there are any rumours this weekend. I think the League One teams have started to drip their released lists now - Charlton let go a few good ones.

Re: new players.
With half a dozen of the current squad unfortunately signed already for next season it will likely leave finite resources to sign the kind of players we need... the sort that will get peoples hopes up...
I desperately hope the club tries something new with prices / season tickets etc and articulates some kind of plan to do more than hope to stay up but I don't hold my breath.

Re: new players.
Kenny Davis from Sutton is probably worth a look. He’s 34, but seems to be pretty fit.
Maybe Charlie Carter from Stevenage, though he might go back to Woking.
Hopefully a couple of young(ish) players from the conference south (or just below) who haven’t played professionally before - we seem to do quite well with this kind of player (Chislett, Nouble) and way back in time MM himself.
Andrews & Walker probably both a fair chance to return.

During the lockdown fixtures v Sutton, midfielder Craig Eastmond was a stand out player fpor them. Good at directing the play, prompting others around him to tickShots1954 wrote: ↑Wed May 11, 2022 10:57 pmKenny Davis is a great player!Melbourne Red wrote: ↑Wed May 11, 2022 10:56 pmKenny Davis from Sutton is probably worth a look. Re: new players.
Only watch local football so....
NPL VIC
Josh Bingham, dropping much deeper in a struggling team this year.. generally either too strong or mobile and difficult to match up on at the level.
Caio de Godoy, ball playing centre half utility who can also play at left back.
Think a positional change to DM would get the best out of him though, good distribution and a wicked left foot shot.
Both players good at directing headers to advantage and think NL football would suit.
Otherwise Ollie Bozanic has been frozen out of the first team squad at CCM.

It's not just 90 minutes when it's modern day life support!
