Sinclair for me.
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "Holy ****....What a ride!"

Re: Goal of the Season
Sinclairs was the best strike although Goal No 2 Mo Sylla's was pretty close.
Also I think Goal No4 Toby Edser is deserving of much praise as his goal involved more than just the shot as he calmly worked it through the defenders

The old saying goes "You can please some of the people some of the time, but you will never please all the people all the time." In fact sometimes it seems impossible to even please some of the people any of the time

Re: Goal of the Season
Tommy’s finish vs Barnet was superb and is under appreciated. If that had been a winner in the last minute instead of a consolation goal it would be close to goal of the season.

I voted Ndjoli against Woeking, just for the theatre of it.

And me.
Shots have been behind twice and pulled it back
2-2 with a minute to play.
5,000 fans from both sides going bananas
At our local rivals
In front of the Shots fans
Cross from Captain Kinstastic
And whammo!
Mika makes it Game Over.
Beat that for drama!

Bizarre that our top goal scorer last season (9 goals in 19 appearances), wasn’t included.redandbluescb wrote: ↑Thu May 19, 2022 10:30 amYes.fredandballou wrote: ↑Thu May 19, 2022 10:22 amWas it Sinclair Armstrong who won the award for goal of the season ?

Whilst his scoring rate is very good, he did have a bad patch:
He scored six goals across his first 12 games, then had an 7-game barren spell before scoring 4 more goals across his last 4 games.
