It's a vicious cycle. Club tries to live sustainably, so cuts back on player recruitment. Club bumbles around the lower reaches of the league and fans complain the product on offer is inadequate. Club increases spending on playing squad and fortunes on the pitch improve, but fans then complain that the club isn't sustainable. Club tries to live sustainably, etc.

The Chairman has said we are aiming to be a sustainable football league club with a new ground and he wants two of those targets.

Perhaps if we weren't in such debt, we could think about reducing prices/ increasing budget.
